Statement Analysis® is the process of examining how a person phrases their statement in an effort to determine if the person is being truthful or deceptive. Whether you are conducting an interview, watching a politician on television, or talking to a sales person, you want to know if the person is being truthful. Using examples from today's headlines, this webinar will show you what to look for in a person's verbal and written statement.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
This webinar will improve your listening and detecting deception skills. The Statement Analysis® techniques are often used when conducting an investigation. However, these techniques can also be used when reading an article or when participating in any type of conversation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This webinar will discuss techniques you can use to determine if a person is lying or telling the truth. Since the most common form of lying is by omission, ways to determine if a person is withholding information will also be reviewed. People will give us more information than what they realize. Therefore, this webinar will examine methods for obtaining additional information from a person's statement.
